  The next day I called him again to look into a sensor alignment issue (again unrelated). He arrived in less than an hour and quickly resolved the problem as a courtesy. The job was simple enough for him, but even a quick truck roll costs something, so it was awesome to have it treated as a follow up of the same job.

  So yesterday my wife and I heard a loud sound and later on when I had to go to work I noticed the garage door will not open. It would only open about an inch and stop.
  So I googled and found a few local places but I went with ZAAAP because … More he had 5 stars and hundreds of positive personalized reviews. I called Shawn at around 2 p.m. and he said he could be over within 20 minutes which was very impressive and he could figure out what the problem was.
  Our house is newly built so they use cheaper supplies to cut cost. The garage door opener is a Genie for example. The spring system is a long tube that sits above the garage door with a long skinny spring. Shawn advised me to replace it with a torsion system because it's better and would last longer. Also he can install the torsion system today and only took about 45 minutes.
  When he pulled everything apart he showed me the broken spring and it was exactly what he explained to me was wrong in the begining. Personally I'm happy because he came within an hour of me calling and he was very kind, professional and very quick.

He called me a few weeks later and brought over a new one and installed it quickly. I thought he initially undercharged me for the amount of work he did so I actually gave him an extra $50.Fast forward to yesterday, while opening my garage door, it made an unusual sound. I called Shawn at 4:30pm. He said it sounded like a broken spring. I checked the spring and sure enough, it had broken right in half. He said he had two jobs still to go to but said he would do his best to come that same day. He called an hour later and said he would come today but it might be late. From my initial call to him completing the job done… 3 hours! On top of that, the cost of the job was reasonable.
