Yesterday, I called Shawn … More again regarding an unrelated issue with the bottom track, which he was happy to resolve at no charge, but while he was at it, I paid him to replace the worn bottom seal - conceptually a simple job, but well worth the price of having it done by a pro.
The next day I called him again to look into a sensor alignment issue (again unrelated). He arrived in less than an hour and quickly resolved the problem as a courtesy. The job was simple enough for him, but even a quick truck roll costs something, so it was awesome to have it treated as a follow up of the same job.

So yesterday my wife and I heard a loud sound and later on when I had to go to work I noticed the garage door will not open. It would only open about an inch and stop.
So I googled and found a few local places but I went with ZAAAP because … More he had 5 stars and hundreds of positive personalized reviews. I called Shawn at around 2 p.m. and he said he could be over within 20 minutes which was very impressive and he could figure out what the problem was.
Our house is newly built so they use cheaper supplies to cut cost. The garage door opener is a Genie for example. The spring system is a long tube that sits above the garage door with a long skinny spring. Shawn advised me to replace it with a torsion system because it's better and would last longer. Also he can install the torsion system today and only took about 45 minutes.
When he pulled everything apart he showed me the broken spring and it was exactly what he explained to me was wrong in the begining. Personally I'm happy because he came within an hour of me calling and he was very kind, professional and very quick.

I knew I used my garage a lot so I asked if he had springs that were stronger. He did indeed, and upgraded my single spring system to a dual spring. It took about an hour to get everything fixed. Wow, this really can’t be true. A truly honest company that puts the customer’s needs in front of their profit margin.Had a malfunctioning garage door that wouldn’t open and called Shawn first thing in the morning. Couple of minutes later Shawn walked me through the issues which included the sensor lights, incorrect strap pressure that was being applied in the wrong area. The pressure was causing the door to slowly crush the center panel. In short the previous person who had installed the door had done so incorrectly.Shawn repaired the sensor and the garage door worked again. He advised that the unit didn’t need to be replaced at this time and to continue to use it until it did.Needless to say Shawn will be the person I call when that time comes.. I know I know you have a broken garage. You’re not sure what to do so what you need to do is get a hold of Zack garage door repair. The owner himself came out and service. Our door about five years ago. A totally new issue came up and he came out and he gave me an extra fair deal within 10 minutes of calling him got my garage door that had broken fixed the springs by replacing them and then had a part inside the motor of the garage door opener, coupler and replaced it as well saved me a ton of money and did it all in less than an hour. My door is now quiet, responsive and works great. I couldn’t have been happier with the work that I got done.
